Despite the small field Bamyan Buddha, I Catchem Fox and Snoopy Now will set a genuine tempo. Small but competitive field to kick things off. SNOOPY NOW (2) bounced straight back to form last start with a brave on-pace win at Gawler. Rises to the mile on the quick back-up and can keep the momentum rolling. CIELAO (6) is an in-form mare who should be very competitive. She had to dig deep to hold off a fast finisher last week. Steps up in grade but carries a featherweight with the 3kg claimer engaged. Expect her to bounce straight to the front and prove tough to reel in. I CATCHEM FOX (5) is rock-hard fit and racing in career-best form. Couldn’t reel in Snoopy Now last time but meets him better at the weights now, giving him every chance to turn the tables. BAMYAN BUDDHA (1) comes through the same race and profiles to finish closer with weight relief. Peaking now and drawn perfectly. Don’t overlook. ENTRUSTING (4) was a good winner at Bendigo two back and remains worth keeping safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Snoopy Now to win.
