Expecting Here To Shock to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. ANOTHER WIL (6) is in for his best campaign yet, tuning up well at the jump outs. This is his first run since the Autumn, and he excels fresh, winning the C.F. Orr Stakes first up in the Autumn. FANGIRL (9) is a consistent mare who dodged the wet in Sydney last weekend to race in this. Her chances depend on how much rain Melbourne experiences over the coming days. Nonetheless, she is a highly talented commodity on good ground. ANTINO (3) was an impressive winner of the Doomben Cup last preparation and has tuned up quietly in a recent jump out. 1400 metres is on the lower range of distances that suit him, but he is arguably the best horse in the race. MR BRIGHTSIDE (1) was poor in Hong Kong, but he's a champion and can bounce back. TOM KITTEN (2) can have a breakout preparation and announce himself as a top-line contender in Group 1 grade.
