Expecting Pod Beau to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint trip. POD BEAU (8) was in control from the outset to score as favourite on debut over 1200m at this track four weeks ago. Will come on following that run and looks tough to hold out again. EARLY HEAD (10) resumes in a similar race to her last run five months ago when sixth, beaten 7 lengths. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. ZAVODOVSKI (1) finished second last time over 1200m here when resuming from a spell, beaten 4 lengths. Faces an easier assignment so he is sure to be prominent. KIICHI PERPETUA (3) made progress last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in third over 1200m at this circuit. Nicely placed to take this out.
