Tricky one to map with a number of debutants but over this trip there is good speed anticipated. Tough to marry up the form. BUBION (8) comes through what are clearly the strongest races of any last campaign, but he finished in the second half of the field in each of those runs. The fact she kept being put in races of that quality suggests the previous stable at least thought highly of her. Now with a trainer who does well with tried horses and has jumped out well in preparation for this. HOLLOW TURF (1) has been building to a win this time in and it was only a hot favourite with Black Type form that denied him last start. BRAZENGA (5) has tackled better races than this at his only two starts to date so gets the best chance at a win. Then we get to the first-starters and GOD'S EYE (6) impressed with a win at Cranbourne at his most recent jumpout, while OLIVEANOTHERDAY (7) has won a couple of jumpouts in the western districts to suggest a big debut showing is on the cards. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bubion to win.
