Good pace with Gi Gi Pops booting up inside the speedy pair Mean Feat and Looks. ESSENTRIC NATURE (6) just didn't get into the race first-up over 1200m and is suited much better over the extra furlong. The form out of that race has been great where he jumped favourite. That reads well for this out in trip and back in grade. Can return to winning ways now. CRUISE TO VICTORY (5) hasn't been far away this campaign, finishing only 0.6L off the winner last time out at Pinjarra. Brad Parnham replaces the apprentice hoop and he's likely to be handy in the run. Knocking on the door and looks to get his chance once again. ON PATROL (3) just missed last start over 1300m here when finishing off strongly from the back. Suspect he'll be back in the run once again, but the extra trip helps and he's expected to go close if he can run up to his recent performance. MEAN FEAT (8) should appreciate getting back out in distance and should give a bold sight from the front. DOCTOR JAY (9) improved nicely last start and can build on that effort again. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Essentric Nature in the last.
