Mr Talentino should lead and control the tempo. MR TALENTINO (11) won well two back before a close defeat last start over 2200m here when setting the tempo. He was on the quick turnaround there but still ran strongly when up in grade. Can be handy again from the draw this time and he can bounce back to winning ways. PETROUCHKA (1) finally gets out to a trip where we saw her at her best in 2024. She's likely to be back in the run from the barrier, though Cooper's claim comes in handy. Right up in trip third-up, but she gets a chance to show what she's capable of now. ALASKAN (4) finished behind Mr Talentino two back before a close defeat here last time out. Chris Parnham remains in the saddle and he's sure to make his presence felt. LYRICAL ANGEL (10) wasn't beaten far at Bunbury last start and can be in the finish third-up into the campaign. AMAMUS (8) won well on the Fibre Sand last start and can play a leading role. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mr Talentino can return to winning ways.
