Expecting Toa Haka to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip. LEGALLY BINDING (7) was a narrow winner of both of his starts last prep, including a tough nose win at Ellerslie last spring. He has now had plenty of time to mature, and a recent Ashburton trial win says he is on target to make a winning return. TOA HAKA (3) made some good progress earlier in the year and will continue to improve this season. He has the pole position, and with the aid of a 3kg claim, he should be competitive. Each way. MOGUL (9) resumes from a spell and was close up in a recent trial at Ashburton over 800m. He has a good draw and is well worth including in all combinations. SAY SATONO (4) is another resuming from a spell, and she too looked in condition at a recent trial, scoring by a head. She comes to hand quickly and can give this a shake. STREET FIGHTIN MAN (1) was very disappointing here last time out and could have found the track too holding that day. He can put himself in the right place early on, and a form reversal would be no surprise. SUGGESTED PLAY: Legally Binding is the one to beat after a soft trial win recently.
