Medal, Perovic and Fifth Position can settle forward in a race lacking a designated leader. PEROVIC (1) is going so well. He keeps dropping back in trip but it is hard to see that playing a big role. If anything, around here that won't hurt against these rivals. Can sit off them and round them up. MEDAL (5) went back quickly in distance to score at Bowen. Now heads back up again. On breeding that should only be a benefit. FORTIFIED (2) does have to be getting some confidence back but that could happen in this. Won't need to be giving away big starts here. FIFTH POSITION (3) is a long way from his old form. However any lift in effort can turn things about. MAJOR ARTIE (4) is next in line but not going well enough. SUGGESTED PLAY: Easy to fancy Perovic.
