Crunchie Boy to set a decent tempo from inside barrier, kept busy by the speedy duo Stone The Crows and Humza Bey. SAM'S TURN (5) franked his good trial form with a soft win over a good type on debut at Awapuni on the poly track in early July. He has had a couple of trials in the meantime and will be ready to rumble from a good draw here. Go again. CRUNCHIE BOY (1) is a lightly tried 6-year-old who was beaten by a nose as favourite fresh up at Woodville nearly a fortnight ago. He has a superior gate, and he has been placed on this course in the past. Follow your money. Can win. MAGIC CHARM (4) was put aside after scoring an upset win on debut at Woodville in the spring last year. He has had a couple of trials this month and will be ready to run a big race fresh up. HUMZA BEY (3) was an easy winner on debut at Hawera nearly 3 weeks ago, and cops another wide draw here. He has plenty of scope and is not to be taken lightly. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sam's Turn has plenty of ability and can repeat the dose.
