No recognised leader so Crown Freed could find himself in front. ADVENT SEASON (1) finished out of the money when seventh in a 1600m contest at Niigata four weeks ago. This doesn't look as hard so he is perfectly placed to score. WITH PRIDE (4) last appeared six weeks ago over 2000m at Kokura when he finished 11th. This is his first run for the Mashima Niiya stable. Solid top-three chance for the new barn. VREDE (6) missed the frame last start over 1400m at Nagoya when eighth. This is a nice drop in grade and he is perfectly placed to feature. CROWN FREED (7) resumes from a spell of six months and is having his first outing under new trainer Shinichi Higashi. Finished 15th at Tokyo over 1600m at the opening run last time in work. Should be primed for this.
