Plenty of pace evident with Pure Alpha and She's Unusual leading the way from Fleet Commander and Amusing. TAZIMA (11) imported gelding who showed his potential at his third Australian start when rounding up inferior opposition to score over 1800m at Randwick Kensington with the 59.5kg. Has further upside as he stretches in trip and can win again in this stronger event. TRAVOLTA (1) tenacious gelding racing in career best form. Shuffled back from the low draw before surging late the a narrow second to Amusing over 1900m at this track. Ready to go one better out to the 2000m. AMUSING (3) keeps raising the bar after the three determined wins. Should have little trouble running the 2000m out from the inside gate. Goes close. SHE'S UNUSUAL (7) just over a month between runs when she raced keenly early and faded quickly in the straight when seventh over 1800m at Randwick. Fresh again with a key jockey change today. Each way. SLY BOOTS (6) went forward and gripped on late when second over 2000m in the Wyong Cup prelude. Firmer surface will help his cause. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tazima and Travolta to slug it out.
