WINTER COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP 1500 FINAL 1500m Track: GOOD Clear (Max: 18) |

---|---|---|---|---|
Sir Korski, Mente Et Manu and Lady Look Alike can set the pace. HAPPY VERSE (3) stayed on well at the finish when fifth in the Grade 3 Langerman last time. He returns from a 10-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. The son of Vercingetorix looks to have class and from his good draw of three, he should be the one to beat. ARBITRATION (5) stayed on well when second over 1800m last time. The drop to 1500m should not pose a concern and he has each-way claims. LADY LOOK ALIKE (2) has good consistent form lines to her credit. She was checked in the latter stages of her last start over 1400m. She finished second in her only attempt over this distance. Ha to be respected. NILE THE BOSS (1) set the pace over 1400m last time before getting caught late by Im The Buzz. She meets a competitive field but cannot be discounted with just 50kgs on her back.
