MIGNON MAROON (7) produced a good effort when narrowly defeated last time at this track over 1000m. Leading chance. SHONAN RALLY (4) broke his maiden last start over 1000m at Hakodate Dirt, scoring by 5 lengths. Kazuo Yokoyama was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Progressing well so worth following up. BODY BLOW (2) is third up today and looks close to a win after finishing a close second last time out over 1000m at this track. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Winning claims on best figures. ECORO LEONA (9) had been racing well with two consecutive placings before last start managing only fourth over 1000m at this track. Haruki Wada stays on and although yet to win has been in the money on two occasions. Don't underestimate.
