The pace looks very strong with plenty of speed engaged. ONCEINABLUEMOON (8) has run two fair races to date. The daughter of One World should love the rise to 1450m and she is a filly with scope. She jumps from pole position and should give the males a run for their money. MATROOSBERG (1) has improved in his last two starts over 1600m. He is having his peak run today and will be cherry-ripe. Should the top choice fluff her lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces. MY LUCKY CHARM (4) is an unraced son of Master Of My Fate from the Mike and Mathew de Kock stable with Callan Murray booked to ride. If not in need of the run, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances. EMERALD COUNTESS (7) showed good improvement when fourth over 1200m last time. She should love the extra distance on offer and may have more to come.
