CHRISTCHURCH CASINO 30TH SI AWARDS 12 SEPTEMBER OPEN 1000m

Track: SOFT6     Out 6m to 1000m, Remainder Out 9m

Good pace from Delphillius, Perfect Scenario and Third Decree going forward. PERFECT SCENARIO (1) has been a quality gelding for a long time, and he has a very strong record fresh up. He cruised home when winning a recent trial and is sure to be spot on for a positive return to the race track. On top. THIRD DECREE (2) resumes from a spell without a public trial. She has won 3 of her 6 starts fresh up in the past, and won't mind it if the track is rain-affected. Watch the market closely. CANDLE (4) will find this field harder than her last couple of runs, where she has stormed home to get up late and score twice. If she gets the right run, she can have a say in the finish here as well. EXPRESS COUP (5) was beaten by a short head when finishing runner-up to the third pick 4 weeks ago. She should be suited by the drop back to 1000m, and will again have each-way claims. LA BELLA NERA (3) will be peaking third up, and her best effort, would make her among the hardest to beat here. Include in all combinations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Perfect Scenario can make a winning return to the track.
