GOING: G(4)

SPRING CARNIVAL BOOK NOW Class 6 Handicap 1600m

Track: Good 4   Clear (Max: 19)   Rail: +0.5m Entire. (Pent: 5.84)

Free Carry has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. FREE CARRY (3) grows a leg for hoop Lang who has four wins and two placings from just eight steers and again gets the benefit of her 1.5kg claim. Has only missed a drum once in nine attempts over this mile journey and can go back-to-back to start the campaign. CUNNAMULLA FELLA (1) has a solid record over this journey with three wins and three placings from seven starts and will be high on confidence following that last-start victory. Top-three aspirations. LAST CHANCE SALOON (7) has put a couple of Toowoomba wins together, draws the inside alley and gets some weight off with the claim. Ticks a few boxes. WALSH BAY (10) is a last-start winner who shouldn't be slept on. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning towards Free Carry.
