GOING: S(5)

TAB HIGHWAY HANDICAP 1400m

Track: Soft 5   Rain (Max: 16)   Rail: +3m Entire. (Pent: 5.39)

Good tempo expected with Miss Emma, Miss Fennell and Al Flores rolling forward. SOLITARIO (3) underrated gelding who comes to town deep into his prep with solid figures. Just under a month between runs when closed fast as fav for a sound second over 1200m at Tamworth. Ready for the 1400m now and maps well with the blinkers going on. AL FLORES (6) improving mare starting to put it all together. Taken to the front and never headed when a slick winner over 1300m at Wagga Wagga with the 59.5kg. Placed over the trip and has solid prospects in this stiffer contest. UNREACHABLE (11) big drop in grade after sitting on the speed in the small field when fourth over 1200m at Wyong in the Mona Lisa Prelude. Map looks tricky but not to be overlooked. SHIPSHAPE (2) due for a change of luck after running on strongly at his last four outings. Both wins have come at this trip and gets in light again with Stanley's claim. Each way player. MISS FENNELL (10) lightly raced Wagga-trained mare heading in the right direction. Drops in trip and weight and can give a ton of cheek. SUGGESTED PLAY: Solitario looks primed with the blinkers going on.
