Should be a keen tempo with Shine Like It Does, Stand In Line and Rock The Machine prominent. BETA BETTER (5) broke through in style at Toowoomba last start over 1890m, drawing clear late to score by just over a length. Still on the up and looks well placed to go on with it. ROCK THE MACHINE (2) pressed forward at Casino last time and boxed on gamely for second over 1900m. Not much tougher this time and he appeals as one of the key chances. BONFIDELITY (6) ran on soundly into third at Tamworth over 2100m, suggesting this trip will suit. Fitness is no issue and shapes as a big threat. SHINE LIKE IT DOES (8) worked home fairly at Casino over 1400m last start and looks much better suited stretching to this distance. Don’t underestimate in a race lacking depth. STAND IN LINE (4) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Beta Better gets the nod.
