Looks a keen contest with Enuma Elish and Colorama pressing for the lead with Hatto Merrily and Franschhoek close at hand. ENUMA ELISH (14) is a four-start maiden who is knocking on the door, the latest effort a solid second at this track over 1800m after being in the firing line on the corner. Likely improver with strong prospects. LUX ECLAIR (12) was well fancied but below his best at the last run before a break on 18/05/2025, finishing fifth over 2100m at Tokyo Dirt. Starts this prep with Makoto Sugihara taking charge. Can take this out while fresh. RECADO (5) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of 12 weeks, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt. Strong winning chance on best figures. CHAINS MORCAR (6) finished 8 lengths away in sixth at his last appearance over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt on July 13 after he got a long way back in the run. Should be about the money.
