Genuine pace with Okeanis finding the front but it won't be a picnic with a few other speedy types engaged. OKEANIS (10) ran a bold race over this journey last start, racing on the pace and sticking on strongly to finish 1.75 lengths away in second at this track. Hard to beat in this suitable race. HIGHWAY STAR (8) has not appeared since she finished second over 1700m at Kokura Dirt on June 28. Yet to win first up but generally runs well with three minor placings from five tries. One of the genuine hopes in the race. WINTER GARDEN (2) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a spell on 28/06/2025, finishing eighth and beaten 9 lengths over 1700m at Kokura Dirt. Has to be respected. O K ANGEL (6) did a great job to score by 1.3 lengths over today's course and distance when first-up from a spell last time out. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
