No surprise if the newcomers played a key role in the tempo of the race with little speed on paper. ARTISTIC VENTURE (2) was classy last campaign before proving there’s never a good thing when rolled first up. Improving track with more room to move gives her a bold chance to breakthrough. EDGE OF INFINITY (5) finds a sharp field to take on first up but recent trials have been on the money. Ideally drawn with senior rider up. DREAM SIDE (3) hits the track off just one trial and showed plenty of early bloom last prep. Looks the real deal back for a second campaign. DUNDEEL FLYER (4) finds a deeper gene pool than last time in work but still looked an early learner. Gory draw to get past but could find minor money first up. FLORAL LEGEND (1) wasn't beaten far last start but has it all to do from a wide draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: Artistic Venture win.
