Tamahine is likely to take charge and set a decent tempo. The feature race of the day which brings together a competitive field and some varying formlines. SPYLARK (4) is one who seems to run well no matter where she bobs up and has relished racing on wet tracks. That said, it didn't really look like she loved the Heavy 10 last start and was a good winner on Heavy 8 the start prior. Will be better for the run at 2050m and expect that she can bound back here. BELLAKAI (7) got back into the winner's stall last start, which was significantly dropping back to 2000m after three runs at 2400m. Stays at around that trip here, which might be her go. Stablemate SACRED EAGLE (5) also brings winning form, which was only his third run back from a spell, so you'd think he's got even more improvement to come. ZIGGI ROCKS (9) is a 9yo with 87 starts to his name but nearly pulled off an upset in town last start and is a big chance on that form. FERAGO (1) has a lot of weight but is the class runner and can't be dismissed. SUGGESTED PLAY: Spylark each-way.
