Replica can slide across and take up the running in a race devoid of early pace. BUTWEDID (6) has to skip over from a wide gate, but there was a lot to like about his near miss at the Sunshine Coast third up. He's an improved galloper and can win with average luck. CAPTAIN INSANO (7) drops back 400m and has been kept on the fresh side. He missed a whisker her last time and has a key gear switch. LET'S DO IT AGAIN (3) improved sharply beaten less than 2L at the Sunshine Coast. He's been kept up to the mark with a trial and has the blinkers on for the first time. He can get into the finish. REPLICA (15) resumes and has been switched from Waller's Sydney yard. Her debut was on a heavy track at Newcastle over the short course and she's prepared for this with a placed trial at Deagon. No surprise if she races well. EVELYN MAY (9) is a former Sydney galloper who had no luck first-up for the new stable. She's good enough but may need more time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Butwedid.
