BEE MAX (3) has been thereabouts since getting off the mark four runs back, the latest effort a second over 1000m at Hakodate Dirt. Has a high cruising speed. Will prove tough to beat. ECORO LEONA (6) has been in the placings at her last two starts, finishing second last time when she was always up in the leading division over 1000m at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. BODY BLOW (12) failed to threaten when fresh from a spell last time out, beaten easily into 16th over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Expected to cross from wide out and with the run under the belt can improve sharply. THIRD WIND (9) returned from a spell eight weeks ago when she was in contention on the corner before being beaten 17 lengths into 14th over 1400m at Tokyo Dirt. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
