UMBRAIL (8) missed the placings first up recently but was not too far from the winner when fourth over 1800m in the G3 Fuchu Himba Stakes at Tokyo. Usually performs well with that run under her belt. Leading prospect. CRUZEIRO DO SUL (9) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when sixth, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 1800m at Tokyo after he settled well back. Has never missed the frame when third-up and is sure to be about the mark. TODAY IS THE DAY (6) was in the firing line on the corner and finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 1800m at Tokyo, beaten half a length. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings. Likely improver with winning claims. BALAJI (5) was never really a threat when resuming last start over 2000m in the G3 Tanabata Sho at Fukushima, finishing 11 lengths from the winner in 11th. Will find this much easier. Don't underestimate.
