Matilda and Invention should roll forward and dictate. TAMAMO KOMPEITO (4) sets the standard after a dominant Urawa C3 win, having also been beaten only a head here the run prior. The light weight and proven track-and-distance form make her the runner to beat, though she still has to back up that wide-margin peak. WIN GLADNESS (7) looks the main danger off a Urawa second behind Lumina Victor and brings a better track-and-distance base than many of these. YUYU PRESENCE (2) has been plain enough in two recent C2 sixths, but the class drop, Urawa 2000m record and past win over Win Gladness keep her right in the contest. INVENTION (11) was favourite when third to Lumina Victor and has enough recent consistency to press for a major share, but she needs to find more dash late to turn placings into a win.
