JOLLY MEMORY (7) is another with the right course-and-distance background, though the recent margins make him harder to trust as a win play. ORENTANO (9) improved to be beaten four lengths behind Chateau Periotto at long odds last start and has a strong Kasamatsu 1400m record, making him the value runner for exotics rather than the one to lean on for the win.
