BUTCHIGIRE (4) has the clearest winning profile after scoring by five lengths over this course and distance, beating Maruka Smash, and that came with market respect in an open race. The only caution is the plain run as favourite the start before, but his latest effort is the strongest single piece of form here. ZIRCON TESORO (7) brings a last-start second at Kasamatsu and is racing consistently enough to be a genuine danger, although the maiden record keeps her from being a completely straightforward win play. REYNOLDS NUMBER (5) has a win and a second from two starts at this track and was only run down late when odds-on last time, so he is reliable around this circuit. GEKISHIN (2) resumes after a poor end to last preparation, but the class drop and past place record give her some minor-money appeal if she returns in better order.
