A solid tempo anticipated with Craiglea Merida and Wolfgang ahead of Rothgo and Galway Hussler. MISS DE MEDICI (6) got well back over 1350m at Doomben last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 4.5 lengths away in 11th. Finds a much more suitable contest and can take this out. The well-related ZARIPPA (9) (half to 2xG3 winner I'm A Rippa) was a winner over 1100m at this track last time out, dropping out early before coming home with a powerful run to score by a long neck. Jess Emmerson who has two wins when partnering stays on. Well placed and should be in the finish. PRUCIA (10) will find this easier than last start when she gave away a big start and never threatened, finishing seventh over 1000m at Eagle Farm. That effort came on the back of a win two back at Toowoomba. Gets 2kg off from the inside alley and anticipating sharp improvement. ROTHGO (3) finished fourth last start over 1200m at Toowoomba after racing on the pace for much of the way. Can play a role in the outcome. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 6,9,10,3.
