Moderate tempo expected with Camden Cove likely to find the front over Artfull and Alabama Showdown. CAMDEN COVE (3) was well supported on debut on the back of some strong trial form but just struggled to put it all together down the straight when looking a bit lost. Expecting sharp improvement with the blinkers going straight on. SPOKESPERSON (7) debuts and is a half-brother to the handy The Black Cloud (Joe Pride). Has come along nicely at the trials and should be taken seriously if there's market support. RAPID REIGNS (6) is a Wootton Bassett colt also on debut. Has worked well in readiness without impressing and is another that's worth a market watch. ALABAMA SHOWDOWN (1) strips fitter second-up and deserves following up as an each-way chance after finishing second behind an impressive Wyong winner. SUGGESTED PLAY: Camden Cove to win.
