Expecting a strong pace from the outset with plenty of speed engaged. B FIFTYTWO (6) has strung together a couple of wins at this circuit, the latest on August 18 over 1000m when he scored by 0.7 lengths. Winning rider Damyan Pillay retains the mount. Absolutely flying this course and distance lately and looks hard to beat again. HAMMER BLOW (3) was racing well without winning, finishing in the money on three consecutive occasions, before finishing fourth last time out over 1000m at Vaal. First try here but great record this trip. Leading contender. MIGHTY ZAMBEZI (1) returned from a spell six weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into seventh over 1000m at this track. Faces an easier assignment so he can turn things around. CHARA SANDS (8) returned from a spell last start with a strong win by a nose over 1000m at Scottsville. Will be better for that latest run and he can measure up again.
