Pace genuine with A Shin Vicugna and Shine Chouchou pressing hard closely followed by Flame Force and Combat Momohime. SHINE CHOUCHOU (10) sets the standard on the strength of a win and a second from her past two Sonoda runs, with the only knock that she was beaten two and a half lengths as a prohibitive odds-on favourite last start. Her broader profile is still the strongest, with two wins and three placings from seven attempts at this track and distance. A SHIN VICUGNA (3) is the obvious threat after winning on debut here as a short odds-on favourite, albeit only by a head, and she has the upside to improve sharply at start two. COMBAT MOMOHIME (7) has not matched those recent margins, but she stays on 52kg, has already won at this track and distance, and her last-start fifth had enough late work to keep her in the mix. ISLE VITA (8) is more exposed and wins sparingly, yet the last-start fourth was a better platform than the 1700m run prior, so he appeals as the next winning hope if the main pair leave the door open.

Proven at the Sonoda 1400m, but he needs to rebound sharply before he becomes more than a rough each-way hope. |

With 11 career wins and a strong record alongside Kanta Inoue, he remains a place player rather than a runner to trust completely. |

With one win from 14 but a 50% place strike rate, he profiles as a solid place hope with a limited winning habit. |
