Has raced three times here and has never missed the frame including the last start win. The one to beat. SPIRIT OF SHIMLA (7) was safely held when third last time out over 1400m at Greyville, beaten 5.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. That followed a win at Scottsville at the previous outing. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. PEACE ROSE (4) performed above expectations when resuming last time over 1600m at Scottsville, finishing 0.7 lengths from the winner in second after starting at huge odds. Should camp just off the leaders. Will give backers a great sight. TREASURE ISLAND (5) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a fourth beaten 3 lengths over 1600m at Scottsville. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. One of the better hopes.
