Expecting Groove Groove to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. SIENA HOPE (5) is on top despite a plain latest run, with the key appeal being the return to 820m, the 54kg impost and a prior 3yo+ C2 third over 1230m at Sonoda that reads well enough for this. He is no certainty after being beaten over 12 lengths last start, but the set-up is clearly kinder. NISHINO WIND (2) brings the cleanest recent form, having placed at his past two runs, including a second to Jericoacoara over 1230m, and he looks ready to win if the shorter trip does not blunt him. KATSU (12) was sound two back when second to Interlude before failing to go on last time, so he has a genuine winning case at 52kg but still has to break through. GROOVE GROOVE (8) has been respected in the market lately and can improve back to 820m, although his maiden record and recent margins make him the least convincing of the main four.
