Expecting Costalivin to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. DAYLITE (5) gets the top billing. Has progressed nicely in all four runs on the home track, following up his dominant maiden win two back with a strong closing effort to just miss last time. At his top now, just needs to last the 1500m. COSTALIVIN (4) hit the line with Daylite in a blanket finish here last time. With further improvement to come third-up she's sure to be very competitive. The rise in trip is also the only query. HUSSY LA VISTA (7) brings honest form, only beaten a nose in a BM58 here after a useful Wyong placing behind Smichov, who she now meets 4kgs better. Drawn well and should turn the tables on her but faces other stiff competition. DIVINE SECRETS (2) made a promising return at Newcastle last month but hasn't quite been able to go on with it yet. Keeping safe fourth-up with good form around her. PURE MELODY (6) was well below her best fresh at Canberra but can improve sharply with that run under her belt. Not dismissing. SUGGESTED PLAY: Daylite to win.

The 61kg and back to 1500m are the queries, but he holds claims. |

Needs to build again, but she is fitter and worth thought. |

His prior maiden win here on soft ground was much stronger, beating Hampton Style by just over four lengths as an odds-on favourite. New trip is the test, but the upside is there. |
