Genuine tempo from Good Lordy Me leading Jean Georges. JEAN GEORGES (10) is a well-bred gelding who looks very suitably placed up in trip at his third start. Out of G1 winner Bonneval, he closed off strongly behind a handy one at Seymour to grab second. Now up to 2025m in what looks a thinner race and drawn well, he should just about be taking care of these. ASHINA (5) is the danger. She's had a few chances but is going well, backed into $1.65 last start at Wodonga, okay into third late on that occasion. She'll take holding out. GOOD LORDY ME (2) stepped up to this trip in the same Wodonga race and ran second as second favourite. Did beat home Ashina there so must have claims. THINKING POSITIVE (8) was better at Echuca last time and is in the mix from CAMEGITCHEE (6) who looks ready for a rise in trip. SUGGESTED PLAY: Jean Georges to win.
