MOMOIRO KATAOMOI (8) brings the most reliable profile among the main chances, with consecutive seconds at Kasamatsu and a strong track-and-distance record of two wins and three placings from eight tries. The six-week gap is noted, but her recent 1400m form reads well enough for this. MO MO BROWN (5) is the danger after improving sharply when second over 1580m here, and the return to 1400m is a positive given he has won at this course and distance. A SHIN JUMBLE (2) has the best established Kasamatsu 1400m record of this group and was beaten just under a length first-up, though he still has to prove that was not a one-off rebound from a poor B1 run. SUSSAN FIRST (6) is more a place-oriented inclusion, with three wins at the track and trip but recent margins that leave him needing a sharper finish.

Her best is good enough for a minor hope, but trust is the issue now. |
