A solid tempo is anticipated with Frostisen and Fleet Flyer kicking up to hold out the next wave. I AM ADONIS (1) resumes. Finally lived up to expectations at his fourth race start when he demolished a small field by 3.5 lengths over 1300m at Wyong in a Super Maiden last April in fast time. Fitted with the one solid trial when second over 900m. Can stalk the speed and close strongly. BORDERFALL (3) strengthened over the break and will take catching again. Comes out of a decent contest after being collared late when second to Nymphadora over 1100m at Goulburn. Will take control early and prove hard to catch with the fitness edge. VAIN TEMPTRESS (5) won well on debut over this track and trip, then held up slightly in the straight and should have nearly won with a narrow second over 1100m at Wyong in a fast run contest. Leading player again from the better gate. FLIGHT OF POWER (9) proved too classy on resumption when he rounded them up with ease over 1000m in a Super Maiden at this track. Has the upside to go on with it now. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 1,3,5,9.
