A solid tempo on the cards with Slayer Whip taking charge. BELLAGIO SAKURA (10) gets the nod in a race where the leading hopes are still maidens but have at least shown recent shape. Her latest third at Mombetsu, beaten three and a half lengths by Baby Nonchan despite being unwanted in the market, is the best current piece of 1100m evidence. SLAYER WHIP (2) is the obvious danger after a debut third behind Charter, also beaten three and a half lengths, and she has more scope to improve second-up. REAL STEREO (4) brings the deeper race experience and comes off a third behind Tsubuan, although the eight-and-a-half-length margin means she must sharpen to win. MISS PRINCESSE (9) was safely held on debut behind Queen's Family, but she was fair through the line after an eight-and-a-half-length defeat and profiles as the value improver among the main four.

He was also well beaten on debut behind Fire Pattern and remains unplaced in two starts here. The class drop and third-up profile are some help, but he needs a far sharper finish to threaten this field. |

She had been ninth at big odds behind A Shin Freude the run prior, so the latest effort was a clear step back in the right direction. With two placings from six starts here, she is one of the sounder winning hopes if she trims that margin. |

He has placed twice from seven starts and profiles more as a minor-money hope than a win bet. |

Weight relief to 53kg is a plus, but he must show much more to justify strong support again. |
