Did a good job last start to finish second over 1600m at Nakayama, beaten a neck. Goes up a rung or two but he is capable of running a bold race. GLOBE AMARANTH (2) found the line with purpose last start when fourth over 1600m at Hanshin, beaten 2.25 lengths. Taking on a better field but she is sure to play a feature role. LEON BAROWS (8) was in the money first-up then wasn't far away last start when seventh over 1600m at Chukyo, beaten 2.25 lengths. Cannot be underestimated. GRATE CROWN (7) finished second last start over 1800m at Fukushima, beaten a neck. Going well enough to test this field.
