Solid tempo anticipated with Beat Hollow heading them off. LOVE 'N' GAMES (4) capped off some improving form when breaking through for a well-deserved maiden win here to end his last prep in January. He is resuming over a mile so must have done plenty of work leading into this, and as long as he does not get too far back on the rails, then he can have a say in the finish fresh up. BURLEIGH MAGIC (1) has been well placed to win 2 of his last 3 starts and had plenty in hand when scoring over a mile at Gatton 11 days ago. He has a tougher gate this time and also carries an extra 2kg, but is in a good space, and can double the dose. BOLD TYRANT (11) has resumed in good order this prep and followed up his fresh up win with another good run for second at Rockhampton 4 weeks ago. He is lightly weighted after a 3k claim, and can figure in the top 3 again. IRON GRACE (9) will appreciate stepping out to a middle distance. Each way value. SUGGESTED PLAY: Burleigh Magic each way.
