A solid tempo is on the cards with Explosive Weather and Knuckle pushing for the lead ahead of Elation And Joy and Villoosh. Hard to find too many negatives with KODIAK KING (7), who was adequate over too short a trip first-up, appreciated the step up to 1414m last time out and wasn't beaten far in a stronger maiden than this. The extra trip here even more advantageous and has a gun draw to top things right off. ELATION AND JOY (13) won't be a pushover, though, having been beaten less than 2 lengths at all three runs and looks ready for 1600m now. KNUCKLE (6) only needs to repeat the Benalla run two back to be a first four contender. BELLSYM (1) finished midfield last start at Horsham over 1400m, 4.5 lengths from the winner. Tackles this longer journey for the first time and can improve. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kodiak King to win.
