THUNDER ALERT (14) is back from a brief layoff. Recorded a better effort latest outing,finishing second in a maiden steeplechase (2860m) at Kokura two months ago after being safely held the run before. Sure to feature if runs to latest figure. AMERICAN PEACE (11) was unplaced two starts back in a maiden steeplechase (2970m) at Hanshin then produced a better result last start when he finished fourth, beaten 4 lengths, in a maiden steeplechase (2970m) at Hanshin. Certainly worth including. SPECTROGRAM (13) has been out of the money in two outings this prep, both over the jumps. Finished fourth when first-up then was 14 lengths away in fourth most recently in a maiden steeplechase (2880m) at Nakayama. Deserves another chance. COSMO CIPRIA (3) finished third two back in a maiden steeplechase (2860m) at Kokura. Couldn't emulate that effort last time out, beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth in a maiden steeplechase (2970m) at Hanshin. Hard to leave out.
