Fast tempo assured with American Runner, Shah Zaman and Real Pegasus going toe-to-toe. STONES (8) is back at the races for the first time since December 1. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1800m at Niigata. Has found the right race. SHAH ZAMAN (3) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Has been in solid form this campaign with a win and two minor placings from five starts. Should be hard to stop. TEN ACE ONE (5) showed good early speed when resuming last start before boxing on well and finishing second, beaten 3.5 lengths, over today's trip at Hanshin Dirt. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. O SHIN HALF (7) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Ready to find winning ways.
