A solid tempo anticipated with Smile Rush and Wakino Glass ahead of Storm Lane and Conduire. CONDUIRE (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 1.3 lengths when fourth over 1800m at Fukushima four weeks ago after being prominent at the corner. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. MATENRO GIFT (12) did little and finished 17 lengths from the winner in tenth over 2200m at Chukyo last start, a less impressive effort than his first-up fifth at this track the run before. Can make amends. RIGHT TRACK (9) is on debut. By Kitasan Black and hails from the Tomomichi stable. Half-brother to the Grade 3 placegetter Raymond Barows. Expected to feature. SMILE RUSH (6) raced once in the maiden preparation when sixth at Kyoto Dirt over 1400m back on February 22. Plenty of scope for improvement.
