Prinsessa Anja should spear straight to the front of the small field.
SHINBONER (1) ended his last prep as a maiden winner at Broome at the start of the season. He will be even stronger this year and has more upside than most. A recent trial will ensure that he is ready to rumble fresh up. BENFIN (2) fought on well enough when finishing fourth at Dongara 3 weeks ago. He will be at his peak fitness third up, and is capable of a top 3 finish this time in a modest field. VERNACULAR (4) has changed stables since her last run, and she will find this easier than any of her recent assignments in the city. Stick with her on an each-way basis. HOOCHIE GUCCI (3) did not come up as expected in 2 starts earlier in the year and will be making a fresh start form a new yard here. Don't underestimate him, especially with Kyra Yuill in the saddle. PRINSESSA ANJA (5) led for a long way at Geraldton last time out and those front running tactics will be an advantage on this circuit. Include in all combinations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Shinboner to win.
