Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Seven Medulas. SEVEN MEDULAS (1) has not raced since being well supported on his debut on January 26 over 1600m at Chukyo when he finished fourth, beaten 1.4 lengths. Expected to be very competitive. HELIOTROPE (11) has not raced since his debut back on March 8 when he finished fourth over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Gate one and Lemaire to ride make him an attractive proposition. The winner should come from this pair. A SHIN PULSAR (13) led early and was still in the firing line on the turn last start before tiring to finish fourth over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Top three contender. EARTHNOID (2) finished 5 lengths away in sixth after being prominent at the turn at his last appearance over 1200m at Hanshin Dirt on April 19. No surprise if he improved.
