He slides down in class, and though he is up in weight, he can win again. BEYOND READY (2) has been thereabouts in 3 starts at Alice Springs and was fourth in her last run 7 weeks ago. He has the pole position and has top 3 claims in this. AMERICAN JAZZ (5) made the most of it when finding an early lead here just over 2 weeks ago and took them all the way to score by over 4 lengths. He is rising back up in class, but with 4.5kg less to carry, he can win again. STRAYA PRIDE (4) made it 2 wins from 3 local starts here 3 weeks ago when clinging on to a nose win. He can settle off the pace with a strong tempo early on, and can have the last say again. MR CASHMAN (1) had an excuse when finishing fourth here 4 weeks ago. He does have some tying up issues, but on his day, he can take out a race like this. SUGGESTED PLAY: American Jazz each way.
