Solid tempo with Lady Value leading from Matenro Gold and Tamamo Lamp. MATENRO GOLD (3) ran a strong race first-up then raced on the speed last time and faded out of it when fifth over 2000m at Hanshin. Very fit and deserves another chance. LADY VALUE (1) is back from a spell of eight months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 2000m at Chukyo. Capable of playing a major role. SASUKE (8) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 16 starts. Did a good job last start to finish third over 2000m at Hanshin, beaten 0.8 lengths, when resuming. Likely contender with strong prospects. KING PIN (5) has not raced since his debut on February 22 over 2000m at Kokura when he finished fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths. Better for that run and can improve sharply.
