Backstage and Woosh Ka Boom should set a strong gallop.
NOBLE DECREE (5) franked a recent trial win with a well-deserved maiden win here fresh up a month ago. He stays at the same distance, which could be a query, but he has plenty of scope and can take the next step immediately. MORE FOR READY (9) capped off some solid form with an easy all the way maiden win here on the same day as the top pick. She can find the front again from a similar good draw, and with only an extra 1.5kg to carry, she can double the dose. VIENNA WHO (14) ran on late for second when starting favourite in a 5-horse field at Beaudesert just over 2 weeks ago. This field has more depth to it, but she does improve with racing and should be right in the finish again. CHOSEN LEGEND (13) fought on well enough for third on the Gold Coast poly track when resuming from a spell a fortnight ago. She has more to offer and is another with each-way claims in a very even field. PRE EMINENCE (3) ran his best race yet when finishing second at Doomben last start. Stick with him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Noble Decree to win.
